Macmillan host end of life care conference
Macmillan and the NCPC are holding Dying Out Of Hours, a joint conference on 24/7 care for people nearing the end of life on Thursday 3rd March 2011.
The conference will offer the opportunity for GPs, commissioning leads and all involved in palliative care to discuss the national policy initiatives needed to support greater provision of 24/7 care. The event will also provide a platform for palliative care specialists to share their research findings with health and social care policy makers. Speakers include Professor Sir Mike Richards, National Cancer Director & National Clinical Director for End of Life Care and Baroness Ilora Finlay of Llandaff.
