2014 Be Clear on Cancer campaigns announced

Public Health England has announced that, in February 2014, it will be running Be Clear on Cancer campaigns on breast, ovarian and oesophago-gastric cancers.  From early February to the middle of March 2014, there will be a national campaign on raising awareness of breast cancer in women aged over 70.  This has already been piloted at local and regional levels, and will focus on the message that one in three women who get breast cancer are over 70.  There will also be two regional awareness campaigns, one of which will be on ovarian cancer and will be run in the North West and Border regions, featuring TV advertising.  This campaign, which ran early in 2013, will focus on the key symptom of bloating.  A letter announcing the campaigns can be accessed here.
